Class Descriptions

Our one day Enhanced Concealed Carry Permit Class and live fire qualification is taught by one of our NRA/USCCA Certified Instructors.  This class focuses on achieving the proper training, skills, and mindset as well as allows Idaho residents and non-residents to meet all the firearm training requirements to apply for your ECCW. This certification also meets the out-of-state class requirements for non-resident applications, including Oregon. Oregon does not honor the Idaho ECCW but it does accept this training class.       

Course Topics Include:  

 • In-depth lecture on the laws pertaining to armed self-defense and legal use of force in Idaho 

  • Responsibilities of owning and carrying a concealed firearm   

• Defensive Shooting and Self-defense Firearm Basics  

 • Developing a home and personal protection plan  

 • Proper equipment related to concealed carry  

 • Stages of situational awareness and ways to avoid confrontation 

  • Violent encounters, responses to attacks, and what happens after   

• How to adopt a defensive mindset      

Equipment Requirements:  

 • Eye and Ear protection (clear lenses and ear muffs preferred)   

• Minimum .22 caliber pistol and if you don’t own a firearm, we suggest you sign up for our pistol rental program. The fee for our firearm rentals varies from $50.00 to $75.00.   

• 100 rounds of factory fresh ammunition   

 • A valid state or government-issued ID   

  **Must be 21 years (within the next year) or older to obtain the Idaho ECCW permit**

**Must be 18 years of age to obtain the Idaho Standard CCW**

 Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund less a $50 deposit. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded. 

All classes are subject to NRA & USCCA guide lines and require a minimum of 4 students. If minimum requirement is not met class will be rescheduled.

Our Basic Pistol Shooting Class and live fire qualification is focused primarily on firearm safety and is taught by one of our NRA certified Instructors. This class provides students with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude to handle, shoot, and maintain their pistol. The class will cover basic firearm operations, ammunition, shooting, and operations. This is a CORE class that allows you to build onto other classes where you may feel you would like to pursue additional training that will improve or challenge your current skills.        

Equipment Requirements:  

 • Eye and Ear protection (clear lenses and ear muffs preferred) 

  • Minimum .22 caliber pistol and if you don’t own a firearm, we suggest you sign up for our pistol rental program. The fee for our firearm rentals varies from $35.00 to $75.00. 

  • 50 rounds of factory fresh ammunition   

 • A valid state or government-issued ID     

  **Must be 18 years or older to obtain Idaho Standard CCW**

**Students younger than the age of 18 may take the class with a guardians written approval or attendance.**
